I fired my veterinarian today. Went to get flea meds and they had a big sign on the door “Mask Required”. I opened the door and asked if they were serious. Yes. Shut the door and left. Called them later to email me a prescription. Oh, we don’t email prescriptions. There are many, many other vets around. Screw em.
Last week, the sign said, "masks are mandatory for vaccinated and unvaccinated."
Tonight, the signs said, "Masks are strongly recommended."
I didn't wear one.
I also noticed two days ago that Home Depot pulled their mandatory masks signs off their doors.
I’ve heard of people recently that died. I think Delta was pretty bad.
I wasn’t friends with any of them, but I met them.
One was an Aggie in my alumni group, a nice guy with young kids, and the others were the husband and brother-in-law of one of the women in my church life group.
I have one old co-worker who is dealing with bad long haul symptoms.
You know that is what killed him, right?
And the hospital got $48,000 bucks because of it!
Nevada ended its mask mandate yesterday. Today I went into an Apple Store in Las Vegas and a sign said that masks are still required. Well, at least they provided free ones.
Either that or threats as to their continuing practicing. I think the latter is much more likely to be the culprit the majority of the time.
Great move.
Those masks are absolutely useless.
Driving home from the store yesterday we passed a couple taking a leisurely walk — fully masked. It was a beautiful, cool, clear, sunshiney, Tennessee day. There were no other walkers on the road, and hardly any traffic. The probably sleep together maskless.
Hubby wouldn’t stop the car so I could point and laugh and take a picture.
“The only time I wear a mask, is when I have to go to the doctor’s office.”
Me, too. That’s where I lost my favorite “TYRANNY” mask, which really pissed me off. It took me a long time to cross stitch that sucker.
So are you going to hire this fragile flower for the job? ;)
I don’t know. It seems to me that most cases where a doctor’s license is threatened over COVID matters have to do with prescribing certain drugs rather than patients’ lack of masking. Of course, the two things might well go together.

Except for all of those multi-vaxed people who are now pushing up daisies. They’d probably say that death is “serious”.
Cutting the two white layers out of those masks makes them much easier to breathe through, and they look just about the same as before.

Well, they still threaten if a doctor utters something that goes against the narrative.
Actually.. He died of COVID.
Of course, since you know absolutely nothing about him, nor his treatment, you just look stupid posting about “not treating a sock person ...”
