More and more I see this as the central issue.
Indoctrination continues because “they” are allowed to say whatever they like while “we” are expected to apologize for everything we say.
Politics has moved Left because “they” are presented as good stewards of society and “we” are filled with hate and violent tendencies.
Men are expected to apologize for being men and are not expected to say “This is me. Take or leave it, but I am this way and it’s OK”. That won’t do these days. You get in trouble for that attitude.
Women, on the other hand, can claim to be better than men in every way, women should be in charge of everything, women deserve more, more, more — and oh, by the way, women are victims and don’t you dare talk to them the wrong way or you will hurt their feelings.
I think we need a lot more Freedom of Speech. And people should stop apologizing. People should just deal with the reality of life and human interaction — which is messy, and that is OK.

Early on, I thought this whole woke junk was a 21st century Cultural Revolution. That too included ferocious accusations, cancel culture, and public apologies.

Never.. EVER apologize to the left. That, more than anything else, is see as an abject sign of weakness. Stand in their faces and make your case, and tell them to f*ck off if needed. NEVER give them the upper hand!
Take this forum for instance. I've been posting here for nearly a quarter of a century. I'm sure people can pull up things I posted here years ago that might not make me look that good. I don't care. I don't apologize for any of it.
