Precisely one week ago my colleague, senior editor MacKenzie Chung Fegan, Slacked our entire team a link to these Party Pants from Tillamook’s new Cheddar Capsule collection. There was no text attached; there didn’t need to be. They’re cheese-colored pants custom-designed for storing a lotta cheese. “Finally, I can take cubes of cheddar from the party cheese plate back to my apartment,” said senior social media manager Esra Erol, who is as smart at living as she is at dairy-heisting. (Keep an eye on her around your charcuterie.)
As someone whose mother recently accused her of being anti-capitalist, “like that sad protagonist in Conversations With Friends,” it’s rare that I see branded merch and think: Wow, cool, I love to be sold things that are designed to turn me into a walking billboard. Maybe it’s their sturdy-looking ship icon or the sort of Old World font they use for their logo, but I like to think of Tillamook as the nice guys of Big Cheese. They’re based in Oregon (cue the kooky Portlandia vibes). They’re a farmer-owned co-op. Their cheese is genuinely very delicious.

Yup we are all lefty’s plotting a take over of YOUR world in CHEESE PANTS!!
Don’t really care what you think.
At least we are about to take out a colluding Governor here in May. You can’t say that about the Cheese state.
I don’t owe you anything, frankly. Go eat some cheese for all I care.
The Tillamook Cheese Factory is the largest tourist attraction in Oregon.
You just can’t beat the numbers game...more population in Portland than rural areas...all they have to do is vote and the rest of the state is outnumbered. Simple math. Plus, we have been vote by mail for over 20 years. Since that happened no Republican has won the Governorship.
Leftist Gov. Brown is term limited out. A very, very slim chance the GOP can win. We don’t have the numbers. We’ll try again, just as we have in the past.
Oregon is like Washington... once you get out of the big urban areas the rural areas are mostly conservative.

Likely true of every blue state.
And who said you owed us anything? You said in post 32, “This leftist crap will not stop until those people you say outside of the couple of big cities take back their state, period. They have to work harder at ending their urban masters’ control. Until then, I boycott. End of discussion.”
We would like to end your boycott of conservative businesses in our state. They already have a hard time surviving here. I happen to know that at least when my grandfather was making labels for Tillamook Cheese that they were an extremely conservative organization who provided a market for the products of an extremely conservative bunch of farmers.
You seem to be political genius and an idea man of action... we would like to know how you propose that we “work harder at ending our urban master's control”. We have been politically active, obviously. I do not understand what you want us to do to change the hearts and minds of the masses of people who have invaded our big cities and now control our state.
We also have had an issue with the Democrats cheating for decades now. When a Republican won the governor's election twice, both times the results were recounted until the Democrat squeaked by. They kept finding more “lost ballots” in Seattle until they had enough to change the outcome. How do my wife and I work harder to change this?
