Some retailers can rip you off. They’re like some sort of muenster.

Yep.
The family grocery store I used to go to until last month stopped selling filet mignon and other good cuts of beef as they were being stolen to where the meat coolers were almost bare. People had clothes that could hold about 20+ lbs of meat.
Locally owned, not a lot of money to hire more people and they have been targeted by a certain group of people. Nothing can be done.
