Thanks for the update on your mom.
Go glad it wasn’t something more serious, not that a UTI isn’t.
My sister who had dementia would get them frequently and she would fall down.
That’s how she messed up her ankle which was the beginning of the end.
I pray that all will be well for your mom and for you.
Weston, I am glad it wasn’t more serious than a UTI. Those can be painful and have puzzling symptoms. Usually, they are easily treatable. PTL!
I wouldn’t recommend Alabama. Tennessee, South Carolina, and Mississippi ought to be considered.
Are pensions taxable in Tennessee?
Tennessee. Pensions: Retirees in the Volunteer State don’t pay tax on their pension income, because there’s no income tax in Tennessee. There used to be a tax on interest and dividends, but 2020 was the last year for that tax.
Why not Alabama, Jem?
We managed to get all of our savings out of the banks. The thing is, where do we go? America is heading in the same direction. I recommended that we wait and see what happens in the November election.
Glad to hear it is something treatable and she’s back home 🙂. UTIs can make dementia people confused, to the point of delirium and psychosis for some! Whenever my FIL has really odd behaviors it is the first thing we suspect. He had a UTI when he fell and broke his hip, I’m sure the two were probably related.

STOP talking about Russia.
Send American troops to Canada to deal with the tyrannical reign of Justin Trudeau Castro.
He has fundamentally declared himself dictator and is waging war on innocent Canadian protesters and those who have supported them financially.
Alabama has had quite a number of people move there recently. IMO, it is getting crowded.

Glad to hear Mom is ok.
I do not blame you for not wanting to go near hospital.
Take you Vitamin D and C and your zinc weston.
Stay safe.
Watching Ottawa, heard one protestor say the woman with the horse died.
Do not know if true or not.
Give your mom American Biotics silver lozenges. She would like the orange flavor. The silver helps heal bladder infections.
From the rebuke to Trudeau:
“Your government does not grant people the right to their bodily integrity, the right to work or earn a living, the right to decide for their children or to be with their families or dying loved ones, the right to gather to worship and obey God, the right to travel in their own land or enter and leave. Civil government exists to protect these pre-political and fundamental freedoms, not bestow and remove them as if it can function in the place of God.”

I saw a man interviewed on a live stream saying his son was arrested this morning with a few others and the police drove them out into the middle of nowhere and dropped them off way out in the county side and just left them there.
Note: It was 15 below zero but they did find a ride back into town a few hours later.

“....brought in riot police, teargas, and *literal* cavalry, to try & provoke the desired response. And it still didn’t work.”
That is because the Truckers were able to keep the likes of Antifa and BLM out of there otherwise Trudough would have gotten what he wanted.
Pray for them as it isn’t over yet.
God bless and keep our RFLOTUS.
I just read, on a forum thread, that one of the trampled....a
handicapped woman, has died.
RIP, if so.
Turdreau......not so much.
Just horrible. I did hear they removed the horses and riders out because it was to dangerous.
The stupidity of them bringing in horses when it is ALL icy.
