Awe.... Poor things! LOL
I believe I said this. This was, I think, entirely my point. Who are their advertisers? Who is one specific advertiser? And specifically, who of their advertisers are well know for being anti-conservative?
Yup, Apple and Microsoft. Of these two, one is not only clearly weaker, but has something that most of us can actually target that will register and be seen. Hurting Microsoft means market share. Hurting Twitter means advertising dollars. It's a different type of target with a different weakness.
I think for the most part we're on the same page here on this aspect. They are advertisers. They're advertisers we can target. So let's do it! Let's do it! Let's use the Spotify model here.
"Attempting to “hurt” Microsoft would involve more than just using Linux."
"I can't"
Sigh.
"Microsoft’s stock would dip less than $1, if even that."
Yep. We're back to "I can't". Once again. This always happens. "I can't". And then nobody does nothing. And big tech just continues on hurt us.
There has been a lot of "I can't-ing" in this discussion with a lot of people. "I can't", "we can't", "they can't", "nobody can't", "you can't", "it won't make a difference", rationalization, rationalization, rationalization, rationalization, rationalization.
Neil Young didn't say "I can't". Now Spotify is two billion in the hole. He went out and recruited others.
Witness the power of "I can". This is the whole Alinsky model. Pick a target, personalize..........
We haven't even picked a target yet. Meanwhile, Spotify may very well be going out of business right before our eyes. The progressives definitely picked a target. They definitely personalized it. They are freezing it as we speak.
Sigh.
Something wrong with you?
“Spotify” sounds like your Depends have failed you.
You won’t support a company that is standing for free speech?
Get off the board!
Are you kidding? Conservatives never support other conservatives. Ever.
Rogan NEEDS to move over to gab who is partnering with Trump new social media site Truth!! Organs followers will go with him they are VERY LOYAL, however either way Spotify is backed into a corner if Rogan leaves they are DONE anyway!!
I’m a premium subscriber.
Organs = Rogan
Are you stupid?
Spotify is out there bringing a CONSERVATIVE MESSAGE to YOUNG PEOPLE!!
You won’t support a company that is standing for free speech?
Agreed. That is the most important thing. When we wanted to be proactive and we got out onto the national mall in the millions, they heard us.
Ironically enough, now, progressives bring up the Tea Party more than conservatives do.
"Then organize and start picking one new target every quarter and seriously concentrate mass boycotting at these one at a time. NBA, NFL, NASCAR, Etc."
I really wish it would happen. Everybody I know still clings to their NFL though, even with the kneeling.
Another example is how big the phone carriers are. Conservatives have not done much to move to conservative carriers.(There are two that I know if) And the worst part is that our guys are paying for liberal media! Through the phone carriers! CNN = AT&T, for example.
I don't get it. But it does show why the progressives keep winning.
The hard thing for you and I is that we have tried following the Neil Young model. He didn't say "I can't" and then rationalize everything away. He went out, did it, and recruited others to join him. His recruits didn't rationalize.
They joined. Now look. 2 billion dollars later, I would say(unfortunately) Neil Young has been quite successful. Neil Young proved Gandhi right once again. First they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. 2 billion dollars later. Not bad Neil.
What are you talking about. Bongino is already on spotify and rogan is one of the biggest Podcasters there.
Far too many conservatives are self-centered about their lives to make this kind of sacrifice.
Has hits or revenue gone down for Spotify?
Actually, I think you do need Spotify to listen to all Rogan podcasts.
I love you!
He doesn’t. The stock market tanked and low & behold! Spotify lost 6% of market value! Rhetorical question: any of these geniuses check the value of their 401k lately? How much off its 52-week high is it at this moment?
A lot of musicians have a real gripe against all streaming services. Saw an episode of “Daryl’s House” with Joe Walsh as the guest. Joe was lamenting the future of the music business saying, “there’s no money in streaming music for the artists.”
Rogan reportedly attracts 11 million users per episode; Young brings in around 6 million users per month.

Can this article be any more outright lies and misinformation?!
Netflix lost far FAR more than Spotify for showing Cuties.
But I digress and will point out to the gentle reader that in the last week - lots of companies lost BILLIONS in value - including Pfizer.
