Had a call from my daughter Katy today. She's very very sick with Covid. She works at home and was not going to get vax, but she needed one to got to Hawaii with her husband for their anniversary and didn't want to waste time in quarantine. Had the one-shot J&J in September.
Her husband also had to have vax, as he works for Sheriff's Dept. He had covid too, but it was like a bad cold and he got over it in three days.
You have a 200# horse too? 4 clicks on the plunger . . .
Oh no! Where is she located (which state)?
Prayers for Katy!
I buy my supplements from Swanson Vitamins.
I don’t think you can get it as fast as from Amazon, but for someone who wants to plan ahead, they sell good quality stuff for reasonable prices.
And they are always having specials or sales, so no one should buy anything from them full price, especially their brand - the Swanson label.
My hairdresser told me once years ago that hair loss often follows surgery, illness, or other trauma, and usually happens several months after the event.
So if you have sudden hair loss that seems inexplicable, go back about three months (3 IIRC) and see what the state of your health was or what happened in your life.
Agreed on that point, but, for a normal healthy person at rest, O2 dropping below 95 is not normal. If I felt respiratory sick and dropped below 95 I'd be headed to get monoclonal treatment. (I'm over 65.) Below 94, speed limits would be significantly violated. One can't even get the monoclonals much below that, in most cases, as then they do more harm than good. (Note that I normally read 98 on my oximeter, sometimes 99, once or twice after some exertion have seen 97. They do vary a bit from device to device, unless one has a lab grade, calibrated oximeter, so, if one has not established a solid baseline "healthy" reading for oneself, and only starts testing when feeling poorly, subtract at least "1" and maybe "2" from the reading. Better safe than sorry.)
Somewhat the same on temperature: If my temperature is above 102 deg. F and rising, I'm out the door. MOST people with COVID who "feel like they are going to die" recover just fine.* BUT, condition can degrade very quickly in some cases: If temp or O2 look alarming, don't mess around. Regardless of some nutty opinions on here, if measurement says you are declining into dangerous territory, get professional help, fast. A few years ago my brother foolishly thought he could finish out his shift and go to a clinic. Instead his flu put him in the ICU this || far from not making it.
*Our local docs say our ER's are slammed with such cases at present.
Most of mine happened shortly before I got married.
Hmmm...
I think what most people here don’t realize about ventilators is that in most cases they are a last resort. I’ve been involved (health POA) in decisions regarding such for my Dad (3x - damn, he was tough) and involved in the situation overall and advising my Mom with regard to my brother when he had flu-complication pneumonia. You weigh the risks and none of the options are really good. Which is “least bad”.
I had the J&J last June and Omicron this month. Meh. Don’t know if the vaxx did anything but it was just like ppl said it was. Mild symptoms. However the pneumonia that came with it was difficult and lingered for 3 weeks even on antibiotics. Other ppl at work had the same lingering cough.
Are u positive .....about both cases ...being tested
Natural immunity from sickness does not wear off
Usually the half life is 12-200 years
Leftists infect science and medicine
And they are lying MFers
The lies about Covid controlled by big tech are disgusting
I had the lingering cough with the flu several years ago. Three months before it was out of my system.
prayers assured-we were able to get Ivermectin prescribed in CA-CVS even filled it-see

I get my Ciprofloxacin and Ivermectin from here:
https://www.buy-pharma.md/Ivermectin-p-923.html
Requires Mastercard and takes about 2 weeks.
I loaded up in October and already used Cipro twice for 2 bouts of pneumonia and the Ivermectin for long Covid then a bout of Omicron. I’m also dealing with Pericarditis from the vaxx and spent two days in the hospital in December for that. Tough staying ahead of it.
Having meds on hand rather than going into The System is preferred.
Best of luck.
What about Monoclonal Antibodies?
Prayers up for your daughter!
Prayers for Katy
Excellent advice! Glad you are better, and God bless you. So sorry for your loss.
The second row has the stuff you can get at Tractor Supply:
He was given Regeneron at Walter Reed, if I recall correctly.
Amen to all prayers offered here in Spirit and in Truth, dear Veto!
Yes, positive tests.
Natural immunity to influenza and the various common colds are fairly short lived.
14 months between bouts of covid seems similar to the common cold to me and the symptoms don’t seem to be any harsher albeit lasting longer than I expected.
