Legendary rock singer Meat Loaf has died, according to an announcement posted on his official Facebook page. He was 74.

“Our hearts are broken to announce that the incomparable Meat Loaf passed away tonight with his wife Deborah by his side,” the post said. “Daughters Pearl and Amanda and close friends have been with him throughout the last 24 hours.”

Born Marvin Lee Aday in Dallas, Texas in 1947, Meat Loaf began acting and singing in school productions. He moved to Los Angeles after his mother’s death in 1965.

Long article with great pics here...

Hell-raising ride from drugs and Rocky Horror to Spice World: Singer nicknamed Meatloaf by school bullies over his weight, told Prince Andrew 'I don't give a s**t who you are' and was nearly killed by his dad with a butcher's knife when his mum died

Some of the British tabs are blaming CoupFlu. But if he was still planning on performing, I'm wondering about the vaxx...

Boy, if a CoupFlu vaxx took out Meatloaf...

“Don’t know if he was a Christian, but he supported Trump, denied climate change, and criticized Greta Thunberg.”

Now it’s starting to make sense as to why he was taken out a bit early.

I forget how many times Meatloaf and Jim Steinmen had a falling out.

Were there ANY songwriter duos that DIDN'T have a falling out at some point? Lennon/McCarthy, Simon/Garfunkel, Nicks/Buckingham, Henley/Frey...the list is long.

Loved him as Travis W Redfish in Roadie.

One of my all time favorite movies with an all star cast of Art Carney, Alice Cooper, Blondie, Hank Williams Jr, Roy Orbison, and Don Cornelius.

Every movie Meatloaf was in his characters were classic. Sad day.

I don’t know if a 74 year old man with long time weight issues would be considered as “taken out early”.

If your Dad was my age, the Bat out of Hell album was the soundtrack to his senior year of high school.

I believe Bat Out of Hell was the 3rd best selling album of all time. 44+ million albums sold.

It took Marvin Aday, aka Meatloaf, over three years to find a label that would produce it. Finally some obscure label gave it a shot. The rest is history.

Deserves GOAT for something yet to determined, but he was.

Having a top selling album is pretty distinctive.

Reports he was planning to have a meeting about future event earlier in the week, but was cancelled because he got covid. He was in his mid 70’s.

My dad was probably about 50 then. He played many instruments and sang solos at church, so I just always guessed that Meat Loaf must be a great musician as the reason why my father liked him, especially considering the name of that album. Hopefully Meat Loaf found The Lord himself, and prayers to his family.

Much more likely it was the jab or booster. He wasn’t sick previously. COVID doesn’t kill you that suddenly.

Grieving families are committed to supporting the jab hoax. Don’t want to admit they’ve been had.

We still don’t know what killed Saget.

And not likely we’ll ever find out about Adair.
