It’s the Common Cold, bro.
Beat me to it.
Lasted 24 hours for me, then our youngest engineer said he had a 24 hour bug last Saturday. He tested positive too.
My wife and I both had it at Christmas. We had prescriptions for Ivermectin and had to get infusions. The crap is man made, and it’s not a cold.
Well, the omicron variant contains a gene segment from a common cold coronavirus, presumably acquired via recombination.
Except the Brandon Fog.
Bingo
That was my first thought as well.
The symptoms are similar to the flu and common cold.
As far as testing positive for Covid I would think after two year most of would test positive.
I think something’s going on with all these ‘tests’.
A friend’s daughter was very sick two weeks ago, negative for Covid although some of her high-school friends she had been with over the holidays came down with positive tests and symptoms. It turns out my friend’s daughter had an ear and sinus infection. Knocked down with antibiotics.
So, she feels better after a few days and now wakes up this morning with severe symptoms (cough, fever, sore throat, and general misery), and guess what...she tests POSITIVE.
What the heck is going on?! I’m thinking she might have a flu and it’s showing up as positive for Covid.
Sort of. I’m on the back end of it now. It’s like a very bad cold … or flu. Or maybe a combo of those. Was doing better this morning (day 5) but my fever is climbing again. My wife lost some sense of taste, I have not. But I am very congested and occasionally feel like I’ve swallowed glass.
“It’s the Common Cold, bro.”
Yup.
It’s weird. I basically only had the fever and chills. Nose was a little stuffier than norm and very minor cough but hardly noticable.
