I had a tone in my right ear for a couple of days with my Covid, a couple weeks ago. It didn’t surprise me really. I am prone to tinnitus and I take it as a sign of inflammation in my ear/nose/throat region. Daily problems of ringing ears subsided a lot when I switched to lactose free milk products.

For several years I hear locusts 24 hours a day...if I am awake.

It alternates with July flies.

Sometimes I hear a very high pitched sound similar to your microwave telling you it is done.

At this moment, as I type this, I am treated to the sound of the July Flies...or maybe it is katydids, I never can remember which makes which sound...Locusts are distinct.

There are so many people with the afliction that this article is nonsense. It is sort of like if you see blue sky you have.......`

My tinnitus spiked hard right before I came down with Covid (really bad). It also spikes when my BP gets higher and also while drinking adult beverages / I’ve learned to live with it but take it as a signal that my BP is high and also that I’m drinking in case I forget….
