An artist’s rendition will have to do for now..................This would probably have blinded the Webb had it been operational................

‘We’ve never confirmed such violent activity’

Wait! What?

What about the Jan. 6th riots?

The discovery defies previous ideas of how red supergiant stars evolve right before exploding.

You mean to say, that the High Priests of SCIENCE got something wrong?

Are you telling me that some Authority Figure with years of post-doctoral research, now has to adjust his views?

Wow...and this is physics and astronomy. I bet virologists and public health ministers, who are about nine rungs down on the ladder of SCIENCE (somewhere above social scientists and economists), will admit their potential to be fallible.

Or not...

For the first time ever, astronomers have imaged in real time the dramatic end to a red supergiant’s life

In real time?

For us to have observed the end of the supergiant, we would have needed to be in the vicinity of the explosion. As it is, our observation would have been much later than the actual event.

So, how far was/is that supernova?

The star — now supernova — is located in the NGC 5731 galaxy about 120 million light-years away from Earth, and was 10 times more massive than the sun, the release said.

That is disgusting and offensive. For you to make fun of a person literally burning alive is not right and very offensive.

So this happened 120 million years ago, or when Joe Biden first ran for Congress.
