Are you old enough to remember the old DOS days and all those ‘Hot Key’ freeware programs (what we call ‘APPS’ today) that were all over the BBS worlds?. There were ‘remapping’ apps and programmable key apps so that you could save a string of commands under one key.....

Oh hell yeah, I was 30 or so in 1982 when the IBM-PC was born. They were called "TSR" (Terminate and Stay Resident) programs. I even wrote a little one myself, using the MSDOS "DEBUG" program to enter it by hand in Assembler. That was back when ".COM" meant a DOS program, not a domain name. LOL
