So now 'slant eyes' don't exist? Last time I looked, they still do.
Are they supposed to make her look more 'western' to fit into the kind of ‘beauty’ that is attractive to Chinese?

Nope, only gays, biracial couples, trannies and black couples allowed in commercials these days
I haven’t seen one funny Sonic commercial since they got rid of the two doofy white dudes in the car. So it’s commercials suck now. Not because there is diversity yhere, but because they just plain ain’t funny anymore. The writers are horrible now.

I read years ago that the Chinese thought their eyes were normal and the European had the “slant eyes.”
Now I am so confused! “OH! My brain is strained!”—Quote from Lil Abner the comic strip.

Get ready for the Chinese Wokesters to go after the old Ferrari 330 GT and Bentley S3 Continental for their slanted headlights which became affectionately known as ‘Chinese Eyes.’ They can really go ballistic over that!

No, no. White people are still needed in commercials to play the uninformed, bad decision making buffoons, that are subservient to POC who always play the character of power and leadership. Especially in demand are bald, dumpy middle-aged white males, to contrast to the Mandingos.
