The meatloaf turned out a little too squishy... I forgot that the last time I made it, I inadvertently put the topping into the meat instead of only on top, and I did the same thing again, thinking that this time the dressing would fortify the meat component.

‘Government Overreach Is Coming to an End’: Massive Truck Convoy Heading to Washington After Ottawa

American truckers protesting against vaccine mandates and government overreach have been joining a record-breaking Canadian convoy of tens of thousands of vehicles headed to Ottawa.
Brian Von D, the administrator at “Convoy to DC 2022” announced that they will “join forces” to ride from California to Washington, adding that “America is next.”
Speaking about the upcoming U.S. convoy, he said “it will start in California and it will end in DC and we’re gonna stay there, just like Canada is doing,” Brian said. “You’re gonna have your main artery … everybody will join in as they go down the interstate to DC.”
He added that dates and planned routes would be released soon on a website and various social media platforms, and a GoFundMe page would only be released on their CONVOY TO DC 2022 Facebook page

HELLO FRiend! Actually, I am visiting dear brother.
I had planned on departing by now, but my brother came into possession of 3 tickets to go see the annual car auction of all car auctions; Barrett-Jackson, in Scottsdale, AZ, but his coworker that was going came down with the rona, so I wasn’t thrilled about going with someone openly infected, and before I could back out, the coworker decided not to go on the advice of his nurse wife.
It’s all good as I wanted to contribute to the TFT especially in light of the fact the our VSGPOTUS Donald J. Trump will be on fire tonight at 7PM CST.

HELLO FRiend! Because I am visiting my brother, when I cook, I go to the store and buy everything for the recipe to include things like all of the condiments rather than use up his supplies. This makes the meal more expensive than it would be if I were at my own home and had most if not all of the condiments already on hand. That being said, the care put into the meal almost always pays off in the taste factor and certainly in the satisfaction column. Plus, I have a bad habit of cooking for an Army when there are only two of us, so that means lots of leftovers. This is most beneficial to me, as my brother has very little patience when it comes to leftovers, so they are largely left entirely to me.

Having made two consecutive meatloaf dishes that were squishy, I concede that adding the same ingredients that are meant for the topping into the interior of the loaf is a guarantee to have squishy meatloaf... delicious, with a somewhat unique flavoring, but structural lousy for making a meatloaf sandwich.

The peoples shouting “freedom“ and all the people waving flags and cheering along the way remind me of the hundreds of thousands of deplorables at the January 6 rally where Trump spoke. A few false flag collaborators and a whole lot of misguided Trump supporters went into the Capitol leading to enormous problems for themselves and Trump. After hundreds of completely peaceful rallies on the part of Trump supporters, the incursion was a shock. No real MAGA supporters planned to enter the Capitol.
These truckers have plans in place to make sure sure that no one commits any illegalities or violence in their name. I wish them well.

I baked the meatloaf for another 45 minutes yesterday to coax it into a firmer shape. It was a tiny bit firmer but remained on the squishy side of things.
In thinking about the upcoming Conroe, TX, Trump Rally, I think that I have a lingering case of PTSD from standing at the Florence, AZ, Trump Rally, for 14 consecutive hours!
That being said, I am still basking in the afterglow as the latest attendance figure is at 73,000 Deplorables and Irredeemables present and accounted for, thanks to a drone flying overhead getting an accurate count!
Regarding the meatloaf sandwich, and next day....exactly what hubby says. One of his faves, for sure.
