Said he died from/with COVID with his family by his side.
Hw wasn't the usual rocker, no drinking, no drugs.
He will be missed.

My sweet friend had suffered from Dementia and then full-blown Alzheimer’s disease for 15 years, she lost her dear hubby 5 years ago upon which her family moved her to Eugene, OR so they could care for her.
Will be talking to youngest daughter in a little while, as they will be bringing her back here for burial next to her DH, and they have asked for my help.
They want a very private small gathering for her funeral, this will disappoint many as my friend was a very beloved person here with many friends, she never met a stranger.
I feel like I have to respect their wishes, but I am conflicted.

He sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and appeared in over 65 movies, including iconic roles in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” and “Fight Club.”
Meat Loaf’s 1977 debut album “Bat Out of Hell” remains one of the top-selling albums of all time. He also won a 1994 Grammy Award for the song “I’d Do Anything For Love.”
