Good morning Miss Jem - as I just as woke up and came to the thread wondering if anyone was up and there you are. I’m enjoying my time in Shawnee Oklahoma. it’s outside of Oklahoma City by 30 miles.my friend lives in the most amazing residence it’s actually a warehouse she’s an artist creative person and has money to play with so you can imagine the amazing residence they have here. she had her Ladies small group here last night and I prepared our offering as she was with her husband for cataract surgery and then her job as a controller at her vets office. Will leave Fri AM to return to my son in NC. Will take three easy days. Going through the three large TN cities on I40 on Sat

Yes the media and the CDC waited until midterms under the Biden administration to acknowledge that vaccines don’t stop the spread, cloth masks don’t work, lockdowns harm children, and not all deaths with covid are deaths from covid — but the timing is a coincidence I assure you

I don’t think people comprehend how bad things look for Democrats now.
In 2010, when we flipped 63 seats in the House, Obama was at 47% approval rating, only 17 Democrats had retired and the generic ballot was R+3.
Now Biden is at 36% approval, 26 Democrats are retiring and the generic ballot is R+8.
If nothing dramatic changes, this is going to be an historic wipeout for Democrats.

McCarthy is the prohibitive favorite for Speaker. He is the heir apparent, he has the relationships and he’s playing the game well.
His new “Commitment to America” is a shrewd bit of politics. As the sitting Minority Leader, he has the bully pulpit.
The fact WE don’t trust him and think he is a RINO in AmericaFirst clothing is immaterial. WE don’t choose him - a bunch of other politicians do - the same ones who have given us a long chain of RINO Speakers and Majority Leaders.
I mean, this lot gave us Boehner and Ryan - geesh.
It may take a Trump running for Speaker to defeat McCarthy. I’d love to see a Jordan or an MJT but not sure they can pull it off.
We’ll see. I wish the Speaker was chosen by we the people, but they are not.
