Ted Cruz called J6 a “terrorist attack” on Jan 8, 2021.
He repeated the same lie and leftist talking point yesterday on Jan 5, 2022 and now claims it was just a “dumb mistake.”

Devastating. Heidi and I are lifting up in prayer the family of the U.S. Capitol Police officer who tragically lost his life keeping us safe. He was a true hero.
Yesterday's terrorist attack was a horrific assault on our democracy.

Pretty fun. - I brought my middle sized baking sheet to the kitchen and bath store. It didn’t fit in the Wolf oven lenghth-wise. So I don’t want that one. They’ve done horrible things to the “griddle” on the Viking - it’s nothing more than a very rough cast iron removable griddle, but takes away 2 burners. So then I asked if they had any Thermadors. My sheet fit and they had a true, built-in griddle. Too bad, I did like the Wolf.
It’ll be a lovely homecoming then ;)

On a different topic, I was at my kid’s HS baseball game today. There was a parent who is a nurse. I overheard her talking & saying that this China Virus is nothing more than a cold. The hospital is calling in workers, even if they test positive.
My ex DIL just got her covid test back positive, so I might deliver another care package tomorrow.

Speaking of life insurance... I have a client who is an insurance broker, and also sells investments. One of the investments is in life insurance policies.
The fund managers offer to purchase life insurance policies of terminally ill, or people who are close to death. For example, they will buy a $1M policy for $250K because the holder cannot make the payments, or needs the cash or whatever reason. The fund manager continues to make the premium payments & when the holder dies, the fund gets the $1M which is split among the investors proportionately.
The advantage is to purchase a policy of someone is as close to death as possible, so there aren’t that many premiums to pay - lower costs & more profits.
They make a killing. No, seriously, it is a real investment.

I think I remember a few things about her - saying she disagreed with his politics was most recent. I recall her recoiling publicly when he tried to show her affection or something like that - I just get the feeling she’s often not impressed by him. Maybe she’s a cranky kid, who knows.

I don’t know about the rest of you, but I sat and watched the Jan 6, 2021 gathering all day. Those that I saw bashing windows, doors, climbing up the building, shoving the police IN MY BOOK were TERRORISTS and that is the group Cruz was referring to. There was NOTHING peaceful about that group of people.
As far as anything Alex Jones of Infowars says I won’t spend one minute of my time listening to or reading what he says. He is a known nut case, a shock jock, a total conspiracy theorist who believes that the US blew up the World Trade Centers.
