In the United States, the New York Senate is preparing to vote on a bill that would allow the forcible removal of Covid-positive individuals who are “potentially dangerous to the public health.”
The Covid-19 pandemic has allowed some states in the US – such as New York and California – to expand upon tyrannical laws, introduce mandates and other changes that pose a threat to the freedoms of citizens.
New York lawmakers appear to now be pushing for quarantine camps for individuals who test positive for Covid-19.
The bill, which is called the New York State Assembly Bill A416, will be voted on in the next legislative session on January 5th, 2022. Several changes have been involved which focus on how the pandemic is being handled. New rules include the “removal and detention of cases, contacts and carriers who are or may be a danger to public health… in the event that the governor declares a state of health emergency due to an epidemic of any communicable disease.”
It also stipulated that the governor or any of his delegates may order the removal or detention of a person or persons identified by name or by a “reasonably specific description of the individuals or group being detained.”
Additionally, it also mentioned that individuals targeted for forced removal and quarantine will be detained in a medical or other appropriate facility or premises designated by the governor.
The individuals mentioned in the Bill who could be forcibly removed from their homes do not have to test positive for Covid-19 either: they could simply be people in contact with a person who has tested positive for coronavirus.
The bill also stated that “the governor or his or her delegee may, in his or her discretion, issue and seek enforcement of any other orders that he or she determines are necessary or appropriate to prevent dissemination or transmission of contagious diseases or other illnesses that may pose a threat to the public health.”
It would also allow the governor to force individuals to be vaccinated or undergo medical intervention regardless of consent. However, the bill does clarify that “forcible administration of any medication” is not permitted without a court order, which then calls into question how easy it will be for state officials to acquire such orders.
This development is incredibly concerning, because if the bill passes, it gives the government more power to control the population, thus making medical mandates the norm.
I did not make anything up; rather I gave an informed opinion based upon upon my 10 years' experience as a legislative counsel in the NYS Assembly and two years' experience as a legislative counsel in the NYS Senate.
I don't know what the numbers are now, but back when I worked in the state legislature, the 150 assembly members and 63 senators collectively introduced more than 10,000 legislative bills per two-year session. The over-whelming vast majority of the legislative bills were single sponsor, single house bills that were not only dead on arrival, but were never intended to be more than a press release for the sponsor's next campaign. Indeed, only a very small number of the 10,000+ legislative bills per session are ever passed into law, and those that do become law have three things in common: First, the same or a similar bill is introduced in both the Assembly and the Senate; second, the bill has multiple prime and co-sponsors in both houses; and third, the bill is voted out of one of more committees in each house before reaching the floor in each house for a full vote.
In contrast, A416 -- the legislative bill that is the subject of your post -- had a single sponsor in the State Assembly and no similar bill was introduced in the Senate. Most significantly, the bill was introduced on January 6, 2021, and referred to the NYS Assembly Committee on Health, where it collected dust for many months before it was stricken at the request of the sponsor. In other words, the bill was never voted on in committee let alone voted out of committee. It has no chance of becoming law not even in the People's Republic of New York.
Right now in hell they’re torturing Nazis by showing how they didn’t have to work so hard to get results the sheeple are giving them now.
Thanks for this post. I really appreciate your sharing your expertise and experience. I had read the bill never made it out of committee in the press.
A bill so bad even NY Democrats wouldn’t let it out of committee.

You state that no one else will sponsor the bill (e.g., "That is not going to happen.") You just made that part up. That world you knew is gone. Now we're in the middle of a Communist overthrow. Our Constitutional Rights are violated, the Nuremberg Code is ignored, the Brandon Regime is lawless and stole an election in broad daylight.
They are on a trajectory which ends with us being enslaved like Chinese citizens. We have been shown what they plan to do, in bills like that one. Canada and Australia are farther along the same path we're on.
It CAN happen here in the blink of an eye. All they have to do is fan some kind of panic, as they tried to do in 2015 (ebola) to justify disappearing you into a camp. How much easier Brandon's life would be if he enlarged his Gulag considerably. If they were winning the information war right now, that bill would flash through the process and be enacted in a heartbeat.

See you in court. This could MAYBE happen legally if state governments are allowed to declare martial law. |
I can change ignorance, but not stupidity. Have a nice day.
The UK Expose link doesn’t work for me, is it live for others?
Hmmmm....I think it used to work.

Thank you! Works now. Even if tabled or whatevah, they thought it a good idea, wrote it out, and it’s sitting there. And WA state doing something similar, not sure exact status
That's because they hate you.
You had best slither back to your Q thread before anything worse happens.
