I use my pellet gun on loose dogs without an owner in eye-sight.
I use my 22 for repeat offenders.
My husband has a BB rifle and a pellet rifle. I have a BB revolver. I’d never kill a dog but at some point it’s too much and the law needs to be enforced. We have better firepower for coyotes, etc.
I already have five dogs of my own. I bet I have spent $10,000 in chain-link fence over time. I don’t know why others can’t be responsible and do the right thing. My two big dogs outside have a fenced yard and my three housedogs have one attached to the house. Both fences are 5’ tall so they cost more. I had to sell some of my P&G stock to build the last one. LOL We have a 50-acre farm and I can take them off leash walking on the farm but they don’t run loose. If I can do it, so can others. Our leash law only applies to them being off your property.
