On the ground despite doubling numbers in my region every three days, there is no increase in hospitalizations. I am of the opinion that this has mutated into a common cold. More upper than lower respiratory. What CoVID I am seeing looks more like delta which was devastating no matter what the conga line of idiots has to say.
This continues to look like a game ender.
Promising but we need more time, the variant is new and many cases are in early stages.

It it turns out that Omicron is causing less hospitalizations and fewer deaths, it will be a blessing. People who were not vaccinated will get natural immunity with little effects with Omicron. That natural immunity will be effective against the Delta Variant. Those who are vaccinated will will get a super boost from a dose of Omicron. However, you may lose your sense of taste and smell in the process.

Why would I attack something that works, as it does seem to. Thing is, ivermectin is cheap and easy to get, if you quacks would stop complying with big pharma, big Fauci, and big derp state. It is a miracle drug and cures the covids. These are the facts, and they are not in dispute.

The thing I have noticed on that sight is the graphs for daily cases and daily deaths. There are 4 spikes on cases, approximately the same size. However, each matching spike on deaths gets smaller, to the point where there is no appreciable increase in deaths during the increase of (assumed) omicron cases. This is also represented by the weekly trends. For the world, cases are up 8%, deaths down 6%. For the US, cases are up 20%, deaths down 1%.
I’m glad you asked. As I am all my colleagues have repeatedly pointed out to you Delta patients in the ICU were entirely unvaccinated. So yes the vaccine saved numerous lives.

I saw some articles that indicated that the effectiveness of the different antibody treatments seems to have shifted as compared to each other, when treating Omicton.
My local test site has had no line for months. Yesterday, a long line wrapped around it.
It seems like the first big Omicron wave (Gauteng Province, around Johannesburg) has already crested, and hospitalizations/severity remained markedly lower than during the Delta wave there.
Delta had a big run there, and it’s wave was complete before Omicron hit. We might have them both overlapping somewhat, if cross-immunity is weaker with Omicron, until Delta naturally burns out locally.
I’m thinkin’ by Spring we’ll be very close if not at the point of this being over.
More variants to come, but people won’t even be aware they’re infected.
I’m thinking about starting a pool on what will the anti-vaccine conspiracy people will latch on to next.
