Yes I cried all over again
See you at the bar at the end of the universe Rush
Remember when that scumbag Michael Savage wrote on Twitter for him to get off the stage when Rush mentioned the cancer had grown?
Savage………………..
He wasn’t qualified to lick Rush’s boots.
His jealousy of Rush was disgusting.
Rush…….nuff said……
This thread brings back wonderful memories of Mannheim Steamroller music and Rush’s Christmas sign off every year before his holiday vacation. Miss him, his wisdom, sarcasm and wit on the radio. Never another like him. We were blessed.
Thanks for posting this- Have not heard it yet.
Just came across this article about Rush by an old farm boy and aspiring author, commentator, and historian- and by the way, thanks for posting this, Vision.
Hubby and I were coming home from a camping trip with our 5th wheel. We stopped to fuel up and I went inside to get coffee. I heard the news on the TV in the truck stop. When I arrived back to the truck with tears dripping off my chin, FrogDad said, “You heard about Rush, a trucker just told me - he was crying too.”
Wow. I never heard that before. Scumbag is too kind a word for Savage. What a POS.
What the hell is wrong with Savage? He was jealous of Rush... jealous of Mark Levin, probably jealous of many other successful people.
I miss Rush SO much. Conservative talk radio is just not the same without him. Clay and Buck are good guys, but they don't even come close to the greatness of El Rushbo.
Conservative talk radio is no longer "appointment radio" for me anymore. I don't go out of my way to listen to any particular radio show since Rush left us. That's a 30-year habit that has finally (and sadly) been broken.
listening to red eye radio now, about all that is listenable to now, RIP Rush
Same here.... Of course, I was listening last year when he said this. I downloaded podcast for that entire show. I really didn't appreciate just how little time Rush actually had. Though, it surely wasn't going to be another year.
Even a sick, chemo-treated Rush performing at 80% efficiency was miles better than anything we have to listen to today. he just had an innate sense about how to entertain while informing. And boy, did he EVER understand liberals. Miss you Maha Rushie!
Amen.
