Negative test within 24 hours of flight to the US is horrible.
Imagine having a departure time of 1AM, or late in the evening, and trying to comply with the 24 hour negative requirement.
That means that the traveler would have to get the negative result, file it with Trusted Traveler, and have all other reauired paperwork done, before heading to the airport.
Not all foreign countries have testing with such a fast turnaround. This means in some cases US citizens in foreign countries cannot return home for Christmas.
I am so glad I do not have to travel out of state for work or have family in other states or countries to worry about.
I feel really badly for people who are not in this position.

If i had recieved two shots and a booster of the polio vaccine, or small pox vaccine, or DPT vaccine, and I CAME down with small pox, polio or whooping cough or diptheria...I would not be giving accolades to the vaccine I would be saying..THIS VACCINE does not work! just saying...LEX

I think that the “Maverick” moniker needs to be transferred to Manchin. He is pissing all over the Dems like McNoName pissed all over the Republicans. I truly hope there is an opportunity to see Manchin vote down the Build Back Broker bill with two big “thumbs down”, McNoName style. The big difference is the media support of McNoName, and media impatience with Manchin.

I was still in High School when this happened but it was fresh in the memory of AV School Trainers.
The pilot was probably not a trained firefighter, maybe just as well that he was out of the way rather than impeding the enlisted men who had to fight the fire.
After this incident they made some changes to the A4Skyhawk which prevented pilots from doing wet starts.
I suspect that during the fire fighting efforts all the circa 1935 1000 lb iron was pushed overboard to wait the judgement day.
This is coordinated. All these Democrats have the same “grateful” message.
