The second week of Josh Duggar's child pornography trial began on Monday and a new witness made a stunning claim.
A close family friend, Bobye Holt, took the stand for the prosecution and claimed Josh confessed to molesting multiple young girls during a conversation back in 2003, according to Fox 24 News.
Bobye and Jim Holt's eldest daughter was Josh's girlfriend in November 2002, when they were 14 years old, so they interacted with the Duggar family regularly.
She claimed that Josh, in the presence of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar at the Duggar home, said he touched female minors in their "private areas" under their "pantaloons and underwear." He was 15 at the time.

See this is why Josh did not take the plea deal he has gotten away with it all these years and he thinks he's going to skate this time.

What does that sentence mean?
Josh and that girl were “courting” which is something that bunch does. They don’t date, they court. Which means they are serious about marriage. When they court and they go out a chaperone must be with them, usually a sibling. They hold hands but never kiss (or sex) until marriage.
After what Josh confessed, he was not allowed to court that girl. Her parents had some sense about them, just not enough to call the police.
Why didn’t Josh take the plea deal. He thought that dredging this stuff up would get him off?
Are his lawyers secretly anti-child pron activists? “If we get him to go to trial he’ll get put away forever.”

If Jim Bob told this woman that Josh was entering some treatment facility, she probably thought the matter was all taken care of, and thus she saw no need to make any police report on her own.
And since her own daughter was not one of Josh’s victims, she didn’t feel a personal connection to any of this.
I’m confused, legally, because I thought the statute of limitations had run out long ago on any of the molestation charges?
And this trial deals with child pornography, not child molestation.
So I guess I’m confused how the court is hearing testimony relating to issues beyond the scope of law enforcement , and which aren’t specifically at issue in the case.
2003 is when this supposed to have occurred. I am NOT a Josh fan, but what the heck. This is almost 20 year old hearsay.

Yea digging a pond is a “treatment facility”. How does she know it was not her daughter for that matter. There have been tales on Reddit he did bother someone in his church and had his head shaved over it. Before you downplay Reddit consider it’s Josh and he probably did.

Good question about the plea deal. He’s looking at decades in prison. Do we know how many years the plea deal offered was for? As it stands now, he’s facing watching his kids grow up through the plexiglass on prison visiting days.
There is plenty of evidence to send Josh away for life. Read the story of Peter Scully if you can stomach it. Josh was watching videos that guy made.
