If this were accompanied by weapons transfers or moving more US troops to Germany or Poland, maybe. But my guess is the junta's actions are limited to organizing a campaign of "strong statements" by the US and allies backed by nothing.
Should Putin actually do anything, this will, of course, make the subsequent inaction and craven appeasement demonstrate even more clearly that the US and Europe are unable and unwilling to defend themselves.

Every time I hear this buffoon talk, I’m reminded of his administration running around the world telling everyone, “America is back.” And when you look at it America really is back, back to what it’s been for the past generation or two. We have an unstable economy, no command presence for peace in the world, begging OPEC to produce oil, the only thing missing as far as I can see are the two but dictators pushing us around.
