It looks like Florida man is taking his show on the road. Despite the name, filming is continuing in North Carolina on the upcoming Netflix show “Florida Man,” which is set to debut next year on the streaming service.
The film will star Edgar Ramírez (”Jungle Cruise,” “Yes Day”) as an ex-cop who must return to his home state of Florida to find a Philly mobster’s runaway girlfriend.
Production began in August and was originally supposed to wrap last month, but due to unspecified delays filming is expected to continue for at least a few more weeks.
Filming locations thus far have included Wilmington Beach, North Carolina and Carolina Beach, North Carolina. No photography is currently scheduled to take place in the Sunshine State.

“Wilmington Beach, North Carolina “

Sacrilege!
Well they didn’t film Apollo 13 in space.
Given the popular meme of "Florida Man", as a citizen of Florida, I'm happy to have it out of state.
Sure they did!..................
Then you must know that most things attributed to “Florida man” are things that non native Floridians probably did.
Most out of staters don’t realize Florida is full of refugees from other states......especially now
Nobody edits/fact checks anything anymore, do they?
I expect they meant to say Wrightsville Beach, NC
Sheesh!! Lol!
I figured Oak Island changed their name again (Long Beach -> Oak Island -> Wilmington Beach
