We’re just having unusually high winds, til noon, here, thankfully.
I wonder if that absurd Bye-done segment wasn’t prerecorded….you know, before diaper change and his nightly tucking in.

We’re thrilled to be back home in Texas!
It’ll take a while to be completely unpacked and organized but we’re settled in enough.
We work outside almost all day, every day (accompanied by our goofy, talkative barn cat - lol!) and will enjoy winter here much more than in Colorado.
Colorado is beautiful and our time there was blessed in many ways but there’s no place like home. :-)

Hadn’t thought that Bye-done could have done this appearance much earlier, could be why he looked so alert.
I’m sure your winter will be much milder than it was in CO.
You can probably retire the snow shovels and snow boots.
But your summers will be a tad warmer.
I prefer colder weather where I can add as much clothing as needed, hot weather, you can only take off so much, if you know what I mean.
I love our changing seasons here on the mountain.

And we are supposed to accept that we need to isolateccand hide in fear from a virus with a 99%+ survival rate.
I agree with you about the weather.
The mountain seasons are beautiful and I, too, prefer the cold and snowy winters.
We found ourselves being less active in the winter, though, and here we’ll be much more active outdoors year round.
The harvest from our first small winter garden is already making its way to our table!
Also, you can take the girl out of Texas but you can’t take the Texas out of the girl... and we were both homesick! ;-)
