A coalition of major media companies has filed a legal brief in support of former Trump chief White House strategist Steven Bannon as he fights a proposed protective order in court that would keep him from publicizing Jan. 6th documents and information.
The media group – which includes CNN, ABC, NBC, plus the Washington Post, the New York Times, and the parent company of the Wall Street Journal – filed a motion to intervene as Bannon’s fights the government’s proposed order as part of his contempt of Congress case.
The order would severely limit what Bannon can do with the trove of information that the feds must share as part of the normal discovery process and have already begun handing over. According to a prior government filing, this includes more than 1,000 pages of witness testimony, grand jury material, and even emails from staff for the House Jan. 6th Committee investigating the Capitol riot.

Interesting. Maybe there are things in those files harmful to the derp media/state. That's the only thing I can think of. I can't imagine they all of a sudden got religion.

Cursory reading seems to indicate that they (Bannon defense, derp media now) are trying to prevent whatever is in discovery handed over from prosecution to defense from 'getting out there' via masterful Bannon's information tactics and 'trying the case in the media'.
So it also looks like the derp media WANTS the information to come out in the media. Are they just nosy? Surely they aren't standing on journalistic ethics (they have none), the 1st amendment (they only invoke that to protect themselves), or transparency (don't make me laugh).

From my admittedly cursory reading it sounded as though Bannon’s defense team has the 1000 (plus?) pages of stuff and the prosecution is preventing him from making it public in the media, the Fake News is siding with Bannnon. I will have to re-read and scratch my head a bit.

In a story TrialSite has been following, a patient in suburban Chicago has been discharged from a hospital after receiving ivermectin. The patient’s daughter, Dr. Man Kwan Ng, filed a lawsuit against Edward Hospital to have ivermectin administered to her father. Illinois Judge Paul Fullerton ordered the hospital to administer the drug saying, “the benefits could outweigh the risks.” Apparently, the judge was correct in this case.
Over the Thanksgiving weekend 71-year-old Sun Ng walked out of the hospital. He was given a regimen of 15 daily shots of ivermectin starting on November 8th. The drug was administered by Dr. Alan Bain who needed permission from Judge Fullerton to work in Edward Hospital because Bain isn’t vaccinated. The judge required Bain to take a covid test, which was negative, then Bain was allowed to treat Ng…

So, the 1000 pages of Jan.6 info, the feds MUST share with Bannon’s defense team and have started handing it over. The Prosecutors want Bannon restricted from sharing it. The 12 Fake News (maybe some aren’t Fake? Didn’t see whole list) want the info to be made public too.
This is ... interesting.

The order ‘would prohibit Bannon and his counsel from communicating with the press and public about any materials that the Government provides during discovery – not just materials that the Government properly deems ‘sensitive,’ according to the filing. I wonder if surveillance videos are included.
