Just two minutes after the Kyle Rittenhouse trial ended CNN ran a video admitting a lot of the claims they made over the last year were in fact completely wrong.
Listen as this news reporter goes through a long list of things CNN once claimed were wrong are now proven to be 100% accurate. CNN even lists several things they themselves made up were in fact wrong.
Wasn’t CNN recently purchased?
I agree that would appear to be what they are doing, but how does that help them when KR takes them to court? They have already slandered him and damaged his reputation as well as attempted to poison the jury pool.
Any attorneys out there that wish to enlighten us novices?
Doesn’t matter. They already caused the harm.
I don’t think so?
This video was probably made at gunpoint by the new owner and their lawyers.
Who the H watches CNN???
Got to love how they say,
“So many things they learned”
They are full of it.
CNN: the most mistrusted name in news. We just confirmed it with our own video.
Not many people but this was captured of them backtracking pretending to just learn all this stuff.
Fixed!
I remember Trump telling Wulf Blister (this was before 2016) "you're lucky only 20,000 people are watching you make a fool of yourself"
So much of their narrative was blown out of the water by the evidence that they had no choice.
I think the new operating manager with comments about journalism is starting to make changes. If the new boss has specific expectations you have two choices, embrace them or find a new job. Hopefully there will be some wholesale management house cleaning at CNN to change the cilture.
they never apologize for their lies and hoaxes, they never engage in any inward reflection on what they have done, they just move on to the next lie or hoax. They do this because they know that most people will remember the lie or hoax, but won’t remember that it was actually exposed as being a lie or hoax.
Would not help them in a KR lawsuit. Probably did this to salvage what little reputation they have left.
“There’s a place for CNN in the proposed $43 billion combination of WarnerMedia and Discovery, billionaire media mogul John Malone told CNBC”
Ah, it’s just proposed.
Seems I recall something about a billionaire guy was looking to take control of CNN and he said something like... Restore their reputation to earlier days when cable was just starting. I think this guy is the largest private shareholder.
How did we learn them months and months ago!
Not an attorney….but they seem to be laying the case that they were mislead by politicians and others.
