A Florida man was filmed as he lay on the floor in a Costco for eight minutes in protest after he was told to put on a face mask, as a pair of local sheriffs ask the maskless man to get off the floor and leave the premises.(snip)
'He said he would sue Costco and the police if they touched him,' the original filmer, who asked to remain anonymous, told Newsflare.(snip)
he got up and paid for his stuff at the self check out then the officer escorted him out.'
'Outside the manager was arguing with an officer that they should have not let him pay for his stuff' the person behind the camera added.(snip)
A woman dubbed 'Costco Karen' sat on the floor of the superstore, refusing to move while declaring 'I have constitutional rights!' after she was similarly asked to put on a face mask.(snip)
The woman had a face mask dangling from one ear but refused to put it on completely to cover her mouth.
'You just have to tell me that you have one. Well, then you have to wear it. You have to wear your mask in public. This is private property,' the female employee said in the video posted back on June 30, 2020.
'I am not a member of Costco,' the woman is heard snapping back.
'Want me to get that taken care of for you? Well, then you’re going to have to put your mask on,' the employee says.
'I will not,' the woman says curtly, adding the mask requirement is 'your problem'.
'Well then come back another time,' the employee says.
'I want to speak to your boss,' the outraged woman replies.

In the modern world, he’s actually the sane one.
Article says from Dec. 2020. 😏
I'm going to have to move there one of these days for I am a Florida man at heart.
Costco is a private business. It is also a membership-only site. So give the guy a choice: either put on a mask or we’ll cancel your membership and refund your membership fee in full.
If the drama queen refuses to make a choice, trespass him and call the cops.
Disclaimer:I am anti-mask. But more importantly, I am pro-property rights.
If he had taken a dump on the floor, they’da left him alone
“If the drama queen refuses to make a choice, trespass him and call the cops.”
Only drama queens are idiots like you who go along to get along with their butt buddy biden. At least he had the courage to make a statement. Now shut up get your 3rd dose and put that fing mask on. Oh, don’t forget to wear your face shield and goggles while your alone in your car.
Have a good day you sheep.
I always find these “Florida man/Florida woman” stories humorous but not why you’d think.....anyone who’s lived here for and length of time (and I have) knows florida IS NOT full of native Floridians.
It’s actually mostly yankees
Too true.
heh
Good for him.
>>At least he had the courage to make a statement.
His only statement was ‘I am a moron’.
Don’t believe in masks? fine, don’t wear one - but private property property owners get to set the rules - don’t like the rules, don’t shop there - better yet - start a boycott if you feel strong enough.
Throwing a tantrum like a 2 year old didn’t help his case one bit.
And it is funny how the police show up for this but not for "protests".
Almost like the "wee, sleekit, cow'rin, tim'rous copstie" know there is no danger here but there is at the "fiery but peaceful protests"
I do have to agree. Here in CA, Ive been to countless times I enter without a mask when all I need is one soda and dont need the aggravation from toy cops and asshole store managers arguing when all I need are cantaloupes on sale. I make sure when I leave (like a number of people) to remove my mask exactly when I exit.

Did you read his “lean Right” disclaimer???
He is anti mask BUT Pro property rights...if costco or any business says no shirt no shoes no mask no service they have a right to do so since it is private property. That was his point
Publicly trade company.
Not a private business.
Different rules apply
The word "tantrum" is usually applied to a spoiled kid kicking and screaming on the floor of a Walmart after being told they were not going to get a toy they wanted. To use the word on anybody that simply lays down and refuses to wear a mask is patronizing and demeaning.
Two points, please.
1. Throwing out personal insults is something Leftists are fond of doing. It does nothing to advance an argument, and so should be avoided. This is something FR’s founder JimRob has mentioned numerous times.
2. My comments in post #5 have nothing to do with Biden, or even with masks. It’s all about property rights, which is a conservative position. A property owner should be able to set the rules for his business. “No shoes, no service”. If you don’t like it, go shop somewhere else.
As I noted earlier, I am anti-mask. If a store’s sign says “Please wear a mask”, I take that as a suggestion and enter without one.
If a store’s sign says “Masks required”, I go shop somewhere else.
Yeah... mask mandates haven’t been seen in most Florida metros north of Miami in almost a year.
#Shocker
