Old software that is not capable of running on anything higher than that version.
We have some test software that is used in our production testing that cannot be upgraded..........................

I think I still have some windows95 installation floppies. I wonder if it would install on new hardware. 🤔 First thought is no way, but then again if I remember right win95 installed out of the box with very minimal hardware driver requirements.

I wish we didn't have to run emulators but it's a no-brainer to chose running an emulator versus replacing millions of dollars of equipment dispersed throughout entire regions.

Might be necessary to use with old controllers for machinery. I’ve seen that done.
