With Thanksgiving just a little over a week away (where did this year go?) it’s time to start thinking about what foods will be gracing your dinner table (if you haven’t done so already!). On the dessert front, pumpkin, pecan, and apple pie are enduring staples, but Reese’s is making the case for peanut butter and chocolate.
The makers of the iconic peanut butter cup have supersized their OG creation into a 3.4-pound “pie” of solid peanut butter and chocolate. Naming it the Reese’s Thanksgiving Pie, this is the largest Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup ever made for sale and it’s only around for a limited time.
The 9-inch pie comes in a festive box adorned with leaves and includes the message “You can thank us later” on the opening flap while “Thankful yet?” can be found on the inside flap. The pie itself comes in a plastic dish that mimics the brown paper wrapping on a regular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and is sealed in plastic to ensure freshness. The Reese’s Thanksgiving Pie is most definitely made for sharing, and while the suggested serving size may only be 160 calories, there are about 48 servings per pie. If you can’t get through the entire pie this Thanksgiving though, don’t fret — it can be stored at room temperature and has a recommended shelf life of six months.

Not too rich for my taste, but way too rich for my wallet!
Now THAT would be good! I love cheesecake!
“My favorite thing ever was limited edition Kisses with a hazelnut in the middle.”
I will second that. Those are amazing! I’ve only found them a few times.
exactly!! 8 full size cups is $1.50
My sisters and I discussed this and decided that at about $50 (including shipping) we would just opt for a couple bags of the usual Reese’s peanut butter cups.
You're in the minority, it appears. Sold out within hours. I woulda bought two.
Diabetes special!
Money bags! LOL
I’m in.
I think that’s probably what I used too, but it’s been like 25 years and I’ve slept since then so not sure.
I’m not sorry. More for the normals.
I love the seasonal white chocolate and peppermint ones
“the image looks photoshopped using a regular sized Resse’s Cup.”
A few lines down in the article:

It helps to read before posting. Try it.
Snarky, but maybe you should try it yourself.
look at these two images directly from the Hershey's website.
Notice two different pictures, one with a box, and one without. But both have EXACTLY the same swirl pattern in the chocolate, lit EXACTLY the same way, with the camera angle EXACTLY the same.
I didn't say the product didn't exist, I said the photos on the website are photoshopped, and are not pictures of the actual product. But thanks for playing.
Well, on my screen, it looks HUGH!

I know how to size.
I wanted it to look hugh so you could compare the swirls in the chocolate, and see that I was series about the images being photoshopped.
