I posit that what the "media" is doing with its coverage is the equivalant of shouting fire in a crowded theater (when there is no actual fire).

What happens afterward IMHO makes them criminally culpable.

The media’s job is to shape the narrative, not to report.

Hey knob gobbler, I knew what happened the minute I first saw it on TV. Why do people need the media to tell them what to think?

I saw a msnbc consuming dope on twitter admit she thought kyle shot BLACK™ guys for no reason until she happened to see someone of the trial.

People are waking up to it. There are now only two groups. Those who can’t unsee and those who won’t look. All it takes is a tiny peek and the latter becomes the former

For those of you who (like me) are in the dark about precisely who Glenn Greenwald might be, here's this from Wikipedia:

Glenn Edward Greenwald (born March 6, 1967) is an American journalist, author, and lawyer.

In 1996, he founded a law firm concentrating on First Amendment litigation. He began blogging on national security issues in October 2005, while he was becoming increasingly concerned with what he viewed to be attacks on civil liberties by the George W. Bush Administration in the aftermath of the September 11 attacks. He became a vocal critic of the Iraq War and has maintained a critical position of American foreign policy.

Greenwald started contributing to Salon in 2007, and to The Guardian in 2012. In June 2013, while at The Guardian, he began publishing a series of reports detailing previously unknown information about American and British global surveillance programs based on classified documents provided by Edward Snowden. His work contributed to The Guardian and The Washington Post winning a Pulitzer Prize, and he won the 2013 George Polk Award along with three other reporters, including Laura Poitras. In 2014, Greenwald, Poitras, and Jeremy Scahill launched The Intercept, for which he was co-founding editor until he resigned in October 2020. Greenwald subsequently started publishing on Substack, an online newsletter-based journalism platform. Since 2018, Greenwald has also become a frequent guest on Fox News.

Here are the some of the current headlines on the website founded by Mr. Greenwald, which he has apparently since left:

Capitalization is from the website.

“There are now only two groups. Those who can’t unsee and those who won’t look. All it takes is a tiny peek and the latter becomes the former.”

Great line. I’ll have to remember that one. Who did you steal it from?

Greenwald to me is an old-school Liberal who still believes in truth. The modern American Democrat/Marxist Left has left him. They think him an extremist right-winger because he believes in the truth, and not the politically correct lies you must push as a Democrat these days. So he was pushed out at The Intercept.

“I am highly educated and reasonably perceptive, and it was only today that I learned the Kyle Rittenhouse victims were white.”

Oh, man!

‘Highly educated’ in what, I wonder.

I agree, so I’ll add it to the tagline page.

“There are now only two groups. Those who can’t unsee and those who won’t look. All it takes is a tiny peek and the latter becomes the former.”

I follow her on twitter. She's a one-time liberal lawyer who was red-pilled over Covid mitigation policies, particularly their effect on children.

Alright, Binger.

Howzabout, you sit down, right there, on the floor and let me kick you in the face.

Just found her last night. I deleted my twitter but take a peek occasionally

I was fascinated by all the libs who had the same reaction. They realize the news lied in this case. Now they wont be able to unsee future lies even if they aren’t red pilled by it....eventually they will get it.

I remember my own conversion as an impressionable teen during the Reagan years. I had heard he was a fool...stupid...a buffoon actor....an embarrassment. And I believed it

Until one day I heard him speaking in the background. Because I wasn’t giving it my full attention there was no emotion-driven revulsion to get in the way. And suddenly I was thinking...”for a buffoon, he seems pretty witty and charming and what he says makes sense.”

My eyes and ears were opened and after that I could no longer unsee the truth about him, about conservatism and about how the media was flat out lying.
