Democratic Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel apologized after becoming so drunk at a college football game that she had to leave the stadium in a wheelchair.
“I attended a tailgate on an empty stomach,” Nessel wrote in a Facebook post about her intoxication at the Oct. 30 Michigan-Michigan State football game.
“Much to my surprise, MSU tailgate’s tend to have more alcohol than food, so I thought it seemed like a good idea to eat 2 Bloody Mary’s, since as long as you put enough vegetables in them, it’s practically a salad. As it turned out, this was not a brilliant idea. Also, I might be a terrible bartender,” she joked.

I had an uncle, WW2 Veteran (Infantry). Fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He drank a bit of beer. Told me it was good for you. Basically liquid bread. Wheat, barley, hops. Made sense to me, so I live by those wise words. I miss him.

The game was at 12 noon so wasn’t drinking all day before passing out ,my wife is a MSU Alum so we were tuned in, she probably started drinking at sunrise and wasn’t eating so a small woman could be sloppy drunk on two giant Bloody Mary’s

Maybe, but if you ask for double shots and drink the night before, I personally know how it happens. Still, a public figure should have more self control.

If you’re interested, search images of “Miller Park bloody marys”. That’s the Milwaukee Brewer’s stadium and they’re known for heavily accessorized bloody marys. They put so much stuff on them they can be a meal.
I’ve never been in the park or had one of their drinks, but I’ve heard about them.
i attended many a game while in school. Rum and coke or bourbon and coke were the drinks of choice as you could buy a coke and smuggle in a pint of liquor. But I never ever had to be taken out in a wheelchair. Getting that bombed at a public event, when you’re a public official, is an indication of something deeply wrong.
