Had the Kenosha police simply done their job, there would be no need for Rittenhouse to show up. Impossible. The Kenosha police department was completely overwhelmed. Absent State Police / National Guard involvement what happened in Kenosha (and I'm speaking in overall terms) was inevitable.

Impossible. The Kenosha police department was completely overwhelmedBoth cops in the car Kyle tried to surrender to said in their scripted testimonies that they were on patrol and answering regular 911 calls.

It’s worth noting that this was the second night of unrest in Kenosha. Had there been law enforcement the first night, it may have mitigated their trouble when BLM reinforcements arrived.
