I have been going on free republic when at work at my government job for 20 years. Freerepublic is my daily news source. Imagine my shock when I got a security pop up stating that CBP has denied access to the requested domain. this attempt has been recorded. DOMAIN: media.patriots.win
I will try to post the photo of the security notification/warning. Free Republic is banned from government networks.............

Whether a job is with a private company or a state or federal government, accurate news is a daily part of a decision maker’s job.
I understand your dislike of government efficiency, but there are jobs that this website empowers with reality.
That is a rare commodity in the government sector.

I seem to remember that FR was blocked in the Jurors’ Waiting Room in Essex County, NJ, the last time I was stuck there.

As a taxpayer, you shouldn’t have access to the Internet for reading while at work.
I am a retired government employee, and when on the job I used the Internet every day to research folks who were applying for government insured loans.
I discovered a _lot_ of bad actors that way, and probably saved the taxpayers millions of dollars.
Searching FR was one of many tools in my toolkit, btw.

There were many articles over the years _about_ bad actors.
FR is a great source of information.

so unless you post here, you are not allowed to enjoy FR?

so unless you post here, you are not allowed to enjoy FR? I don't give a crap whether you enjoy FR or not. I'm simply stating a fact. There has been a rash of sleeper accounts suddenly reactivating. I don't believe this coincidental.
