Sarah Jessica Parker is over the criticism she and her “Sex and the City” co-stars have received for how their physical appearances have changed as they’ve gotten older.
“There’s so much misogynist chatter in response to us that would never. Happen. About. A. Man.,” Parker, 56, told Vogue in an accompanying interview for her December cover shoot. “’Gray hair, gray hair, gray hair. Does she have gray hair?’”
Parker is referring to the pics of her rocking her natural gray locks that went viral after she was spotted having lunch with friends in July.
“I’m sitting with Andy Cohen, and he has a full head of gray hair, and he’s exquisite,” Parker recalled. “Why is it OK for him? I don’t know what to tell you people!”
The double-standard is something the “And Just Like That…” star and many other female celebrities have tolerated for years. But in the age of Instagram, Twitter and TikTok, Parker feels that the scrutiny over people’s looks has only gotten louder.
“It almost feels as if people don’t want us to be perfectly OK with where we are, as if they almost enjoy us being pained by who we are today, whether we choose to age naturally and not look perfect, or whether you do something if that makes you feel better,” Parker exclaimed.
“I know what I look like. I have no choice,” she added. “What am I going to do about it? Stop aging? Disappear?”

This chick was so cute as a young person but absolutely aged horribly. Her nose grew, and she just got ugly.

It is what it is. Many women while young and in their prime, squander their youth on promiscuity. When they are post-wall, they become less attractive rapidly, while men tend to look better and better as they pass through middle age, and can even hook up with the young promiscuous women. Then when men truly become old, they get ugly too.
Get over it. Gals should nail down a good marriage when they are in their twenties and be good wives so their husbands want to stay with them. Good husbands will stay with their post-wall wives even through the middle age when guys still look pretty good while their wives look aged.
Never found her attractive. She was odd-looking even back in “Square Pegs.” Her deranged politics have not helped her aging (Conservative women age better).
Actually without her side kicks she could have never carried the show.....which I never watched anyway. She tried doing a couple movies that basically fell flat.
The topic is about age and who finds whom physically attractive. Young women find young men more physically attractive, and vice-versa. There are few exceptions.
Sarah has always had comments about her looks.
None to good either.
At least she is not using botox and a facelift that makes people look weird.

She never was pretty. Age makes her face look better.
