Fact is he wouldn’t have even beat a generic Democrat. McAuliffe is nearly as unlikeable as Hillary. Or won in a higher turnout general election. I don’t think this is the landslide some want it be.
I am cautiously optimistic. I hope they try and fight it and get massively beat down.

Sometimes you get quirks in the system: Look at Paul LePage in Maine. An unabashed Trump supporter and conservative in that state and he was a two-term governor (now running again!)

If you’ll recall the Dems backed off on the massive, obvious fraud from 2018 to the few special elections in 2019. They aren’t tipping their hands over a few meaningless off year elections this time either. That’s assuming this result still isn’t contested or recounted to hell.
If you think in a national election an R will get a fair shake in Philly, Detroit, Atlanta or any other Democrat city then you are sadly mistaken.

The stolen election of 2020 was fully bipartisan in nature. Naturally, the GOP is not going to torpedo a mainline GOP candidate like Youngkin who was a heavy donor to Romney and Jeb.
The proof is in the pudding. Let’s see how Youngkin governs. He can start by returning the Lee statue to the US Capitol.
The PA legislature has done nothing to correct the situation in Philly. This is a prime example.
