I’ve been part of 3 recalls in 2 years. 1 was a part design flaw, 1 a supplier operator not properly trained, 1 was supplier making change without notification....things happen sometimes. In none of those cases were patients directly harmed, but harm could occur or surgeries may have been delayed, so the recalls were necessary.
