I’ve actually wondered about that from the beginning, since they didn’t really do “dosing” in the trials. I have also wondered if some weren’t just saline-for the control group-only they would know which was which.
IIRC, the “dosing” was a problem in the animal trials. Too much was needed to get the effectiveness that was necessary. And I never read anything that told how they compensated for that.
And I think it was Moderna that had to have an extra high dose to get sufficient neutralizing antibodies. But my memory ain’t what it used to be.
