I listen to the policy statement, ask politely if that is a condition of employment and hit the door if the answer's "Yes".
I'm told Independent Contractors can be SOB's and I've been consulting so long now I guess I can be a full time SOB. Especially when dealing with somebody suddenly thinks he's uncrowned royalty.
(Actually did just that a couple months ago over a mask mandate. Vaccinations? Don't even go there with me.)
