Alec Baldwin has shot and killed a cinematographer on the set of the upcoming Western movie Rust, after a prop firearm he was using in a scene discharged in a tragic accident.

According to The Daily Beast, Alec Baldwin’s prop gun was meant to be loaded with blanks, and he did not know it contained live rounds

Local Albuquerque news said someone speaking for the production said live rounds were not allowed on set. Will have to wait until the investigation is complete.

You really have to wonder if Baldwin had been unsuccessfully hitting on her and “pretended” to shoot her in his frustrated passion.

Or perhaps someone else on the production team was spurned by her. A person who knew about the filming angle of the scene and had access to the gun beforehand could have loaded the live rounds. Even though live ammo was not permitted on set, I'm sure they weren't actually screening people for it.

All the scenarios that were acted out showing President Trump being assassinated, along with Kathy Griffith holding Trump's bloody head, I could see Baldwin putting on his Trump makeup, and reenacting the shooting as Trump on SNL.

Why would a prop gun be able to chamber an actual live round? I am surprised they dont use a cartridge size that doesn’t exist that could be easily done, there are only so many actual calibre sizes around.
