This particuar video is a year old, but points out how close to shore a white shark can get while pursuing a meal.
The swimmers are gone in October, but the white shark predations on seals will continue like this right thru November into December.-Tom

When the environmentalists put an end to the baby seal hunt ( can’t have burly white men clubbing poor helpless cute little seals), the population of seals increased in the waters around New England and the sharks reestablished themselves in those waters. If you get bit or killed by a shark off Cape Cod, thank an environmentalist.
