Crap. I was seriously considering going to Mt Airy to meet her. She was going to the museum every 2 weeks to sign autographs and chat with fans.

I’ll never get over how Ron Howard and Griffith did an ad promoting O-care. The AGS was the most wholesome, all American TV show ever recorded. It exhibited family values, patriotism, honesty, you name it.

Betty Lynn never revealed her political views to my knowledge. Neither did Don Knotts. That tells me they were likely conservatives. At least I’d like to think so.

Now, the lone survivor is liberal Ron Howard.

We were watching an episode of the old Andy Griffith Show when we were packing up to leave a hotel. It was funny and still seemed fresh, even after all these decades...

My husband asked why TV can’t be made like that now and is instead loaded down with gay and tranny issues and other “modern” perversions that are being shoved down our throats.
