I watched a show called Cold Case on the A & E Network.
A pretty young Hispanic woman was killed and raped in Texas in 1960.
KILLED AND RAPED.
To make a long story shorter, the murderer was covered up for 60 years.
The present DA couldn’t believe that they hadn’t jailed the murderer back in 1960.
The murderer was a Catholic Priest and the Democrats were afraid that arresting the Priest would cause JFK to lose the election.
MURDER AND RAPE COVERED UP FOR 60 YEARS TO HELP THE DEMOCRATS.

Personally, I don’t think that’s the reason. It was covered up to hide their embarrassment and save their own arses.
This type of thing happens far more often than most folks know. We’ve been told by multiple, credible sources that sexual assaults have happened for years at Liberty University, and subsequently covered up by the administration. IIRC, Jesse Matthews was one of them.

After an ace reporter w/ The Daily Wire found Loudoun County Public Schools did not record multiple known incidents of alleged sexual assault in schools dating back several years, despite a law that requires statistics about school safety incidents to be reported to the public and which includes provisions holding school superintendents personally liable for violations.......
....The Daily Wire raised the discrepancy with the Virginia Department of Education.
DOE spokesman Charles Pyle said that “VDOE is reviewing the discipline, crime and violence data submissions of Loudoun County Public Schools and is in communication with LCPS to determine whether the division’s reporting is accurate and whether the division is in compliance with state and federal law.”
