Well - my company sent out their survey today. Though I don’t believe it’s any of their business I answered it, it’s my jab in the eye.

I almost walked out on them in July and they responded pretty quick in resolving some long boiling issues. At that time I still had 5 months left on my sign on bonus, which would have had to be paid back. Now I’m down to a month, which I can cover with my vacation if need be.

OSHA Rule still isn’t out yet, and appears that it won’t be through the entire process to be enforceable until late Nov/early Dec. So I doubt I’ll have to use my vacation. So looks like I’ll be good through at least the holidays.

2022 may be the year to do something different. Just have to figure out how to deal with health insurance and the wife’s hypochondria.

Also today: I doubled down on a market retraction by increasing my buy of put options on the S&P and QQQ. It’s coming it’s just a matter of when, so my puts are falling in the January and April timeframe.

I think it will hit later this month or early November, but definitely feel it will be before Christmas. If it doesn’t play out that way then I’ll be down some of the money I made last year when I bought Call options in the middle of the plummet.

I’m making it public now so that if I’m right I can brag - and if I’m wrong I’ll remember to cry Mea Culpa on my timing.

Good luck with your job. The company I work for is a “work anywhere” company so I work 100% remote. As such I am not required to be vaccinated. They already have a rule that to go into an office you must be vaccinated but it’s on the honor system. The CEO has said nothing about this upcoming mandate.

Good luck with your company. Perhaps if they lose enough people they will change their minds. (Not unwilling, but they are still being tested. etc. )
