Several years back when I was planning to have Thanksgiving at my house the grandkids were arguing “I don’t want Turkey, I want Ham.” The other would say “I don’t want Ham, I want Turkey.” I finally said well I will take care of that. “We will have Spaghetti.” They all said that was the best Thanksgiving dinner ever. :-)
I don’t have any great grands yet, but when I was around the grands I was on it. I told a third grade teacher that I discovered she was teaching common core math, and it wasn’t allowed in Texas, so I’d appreciate it if she discontinued that agenda. She did, as far as I could see. I can be persuasive.

That is what must have happened as far as the leash is concerned. We are also puzzling how he got back into his latched shut yard.
Some collars are made so that if the pet gets hung up on something it will break open to avoid strangulation.
But, the collar isn’t broken and the carabiner wasn’t made like that. Also, the gate into Rags’s yard has a latch on the bottom and the top. So, it is very difficult to imagine a dog manipulating both at the same time.

Great story. Back when I had a lot of people I had both ham and turkey. One year it was just two of us and I had Cornish game hens. We’ve had lamb for Christmas dinner several times as we all like it. have an alternative for those that don’t like lamb.

Long before Common Corp came out in 2010 I was visiting my grand-daughter’s class when she was about 3rd 4th grade IIR. I was observing her doing math and she was doing some addition the craziest way I had EVER seen. I showed her how I was taught. I guess she later said something to the teacher about me telling her that the way she was doing it was not correct and the teacher went running to the Principal and I was asked to not sit in the classroom anymore. To this day my grand-daughter is terrible at math. :-(
