The Black hole at the center of our own galaxy (Sagittarius A*) is an example of this.

I love the video they made of the stars orbiting some unseen object at the center of our galaxy.

Amazing proof of the black hole there.

And nothing surrounding it that even shows something is there. (like a dust cloud). That black hole must have sucked it’s neighborhood dry long ago.
