Washington's Attack On Oil And Gas May Backfire
Oil Price ^ | 20 Sept 2021 | IRINA SLAV

“We are deeply concerned that the fossil fuel industry has reaped massive profits for decades while contributing to climate change that is devastating American communities, costing taxpayers billions of dollars, and ravaging the natural world,” the committee wrote.

“We are also concerned that to protect those profits, the industry has reportedly led a coordinated effort to spread disinformation to mislead the public and prevent crucial action to address climate change.”

...In fact, the plan will penalize electricity suppliers that use natural gas to generate power while rewarding those who generate it from renewable sources.

Last week, a group of progressive Democrats introduced a bill that seeks to ban U.S. banks from funding fossil fuel projects from 2030 onwards. Called the Fossil Free Finance Act...

The UK is currently in the throes of a major energy crisis as gas prices have tripled since the start of the year and the country’s wind capacity has been underperforming recently, causing an electricity crunch that has sent electricity bills much higher than anyone is comfortable with. Earlier this month, the UK was even forced to reopen a coal power plant to supplant its gas-fired generation and whatever wind and biomass could generate.

The current situation in Europe is a great lesson in how not to do it when it comes to decarbonization. Yet, for a lesson to be useful, someone needs to pay attention to it.

The average American has NO IDEA how broad and deep petroleum products play in our daily lives. Not only energy, add drugs, plastics, roads, clothing, transportation, lubricants, paint, solvents….

Where did you get your petroleum geology degrees from they failed you? Three of my five degrees are in petroleum, sedimentology and hydrogeology. Abotic oil has been debunked for decades. I personally have done thousands of geochemical analysts of total hydrocarbon systems every single one had the tell take markers of biological origin, EVERY SINGLE ONE.

The earth’s core is liquid iron at temperatures hotter than the surface of the sun with a good amount of uranium and other heavy metals from the super nova that seeded our solar system billions of years ago. Radioactivity is one of the reasons earth still has a liquid core. Gravitational collapse energy would have dissipated eons ago.

People always point to the simple hydrocarbons on some of the outer moons in the solar system where the temps are subzero and have been subzero for 100s of millions of years. Methane, ethane on titan and methane in Uranus, Neptune and Jupiter atmospheres. Monoatomic hydrogen in the presence of carbon, carbon monoxide or carbon dioxide has a higher affinity for the carbon atom than the oxygen so in low Gibbs environments such as the depths of cold space the lowest Gibbs molecules are simple hydrocarbons and water over oxydised forms of carbon. Any simple hydrocarbons present at the earth’s formation from the original solar nebula were lost billions of years ago due to outgassing from the gravitational energy of collapse.

The entire earth was molten in the beginning simple hydrocarbons would have been gassed to space at the 3000C+ temps of the molten planet. The earth was also impacted after it solidified by a Mars sized impactor which is the explanation of why we are a double planetary system with a moon 1/4 the size of terra and a composition nearly identical to the earth’s mantel and crust. The core of the impactor being denser then rest of the body coalesced with earth’s version one core to form earth version two this also explains why the earth has an abnormally large core for a rocky inner planet. This impact also liquefied the whole planet and when it cooled we had two bodies sharing a common gravitational center this is why we have tides in both sides of the planet not just in the moon facing side.

the House Oversight Committee wrote to the executives of the biggest oil companies operating in the United States along with the American Petroleum Institute and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to inform them that it is now investigating these companies for disinformation on climate change.

I hit send too soon.

the House Oversight Committee wrote to the executives of the biggest oil companies operating in the United States along with the American Petroleum Institute and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce to inform them that it is now investigating these companies for disinformation on climate change...

The letter cites a number of news reports from outlets such as The Guardian, Mother Jones, the New York Times, and Inside Climate News, largely summarizing the information in these reports and stating quite plainly that it is going after Big Oil for spreading disinformation and hiding facts about climate change.

The new inquisition.

"Disinformation" is now defined as disagreeing with leftist news outlets.

One company — BP — with it’s little green leaves logo was a leader in going against its own business interests. Other energy companies have gone along to varying degrees judging by their advertising campaigns.

—”The new inquisition.”

Perfect!

And that should be the title of this article.

The unstated truth about all of the woke BS,

—”all oil, gasoline, diesel and natural gas production will stop until further notice.”

Sadly, the puppet masters behind the jamoke would have the
puppet announce the nationalization of all oil and gas production, until further notice.
