Full title should read:
Ted Cruz asks Richard Blumenthal a simple question about African American voter participation, and Blumenthal’s answer ‘speaks volumes’ [video
Essentializing: A fallacy of logos that proposes a person or thing “is what it is and that’s all that it is,” and at its core will always be the way it is right now. Also refers to the fallacy of arguing that something is a certain way “by nature,” an empty claim that no amount of proof can refute. (E.g., “Americans are cold and greedy by nature,” or “Women are naturally better cooks than men.”)
Relativizing, the typically postmodern fallacy of blithely dismissing any and all arguments against one’s standpoint by shrugging one’s shoulders and responding “ Whatever..., I don’t feel like arguing about it;” “It all depends...;” “That’s your opinion; everything’s relative;” or falsely invoking Einstein’s Theory of Relativity, Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle, Quantum Weirdness or the Theory of Multiple Universes in order to confuse, mystify or “refute” an opponent.
But, but, but... how then would the libs be able to tell you what to do?
Blumi is saying, “Because my view is void of facts or logic, I will call you names instead of debating you.”
He really is. He's a lubricous homunculus.
Because I think we’d still have ports with which to do trade with, for one.
Because I’m betting that San Diego would definitely NOT stay with the liberals. Then we’d have San Diego, Charleston, Savannah, Miami, New Orleans and Houston. And there would be no issues in building another one somewhere, if needed.
What will they produce? And who would produce it for them? Where is and who works in, all the manufacturing facilities? We would have pretty much ALL the oil, natural gas and about 95% or more, of the food production. Most of the manufacturing is done in RED states or RED areas of BLUE states.
We would have pretty much all of the people that can and are willing to do the work.
We would have the majority of the military bases and assets therein.
I don’t care what state you go to, except for, maybe, Delaware and Rhode Island and maybe Jersey. The states are BLUE only because of the cities. And that goes for NY, California, Illinois, Washington, Oregon. Damn near every inch of most of the states is as RED as it can be. I visited my nephew in Washington a couple of years ago. Didn’t go into Seattle. Also, didn’t meet any liberals.
For all the nonsense that Liberals like to say about us Deplorables not being able to survive with the Left, well, I know one thing. I can grow my own food. I don’t need Facebook, Instagram, CRT or Starbucks.
We wouldn’t be ceding them a thing. They’d be starving in 3 months. No gas. Crime through the roof. We have the guns and ammo and folks that know how to use them. They want to get rid of the cops.
There’s that.
I went to renew my drivers license. I am 66 years old, been married for many years and lived in this area for 8 years. I had to present my expiring drivers license, my birth certificate, my SS card, my marriage license and 2 pieces of mail at the address on my license. I had to do a vision test and get my picture taken. All this for proving who I am to renew my drivers license! To vote...nothing! Got registered online and got my ballot in the mail. Filled it out and mailed it in.
thank you thank you. I ws looking over my shoulder for Candid Camera !
I’m gonna have to look that one up.
“That Blumenthal clown is as slimy as they come.”
Not only that but he also talks like a slow moving slug. He’s the very definition of oleaginous.
“ Let’s hold elections inside of Liquor Stores. THEN they will HAVE to show ID.”
I’m so stealing that.
Mid terms might not be so bad because there’s not a cheat machine in every county of every state but 2024, they’ll pull out all the stops.
They don’t need to put one in every county of every state. Only the counties of states that matter. As was shown in the 2014 election when 5 Californians were denied winning the election they were clearly winning the night before it was announced they lost the next day. This gave the House to the Demoncraps. So it doesn’t need to be in every county of every state, only those counties that matter the most. And it might be prudent to say to downplay the cheating in counties where the races are not too well known or hyped.
“But, in case anyone hasn’t realized it by now. Those 3 and Blumenthal, for that matter, are perfect examples as to why the country needs to just have a simple divorce and break up. Let the Conservatives have their areas. Let hyperpartisan liberals like these have theirs. No fighting. No violence.”
It’s a nice idea, but simply cannot work because they will never agree to stop ANYTHING that they have been doing for decades.
“People also have to show ID to buy alcohol, tobacco products, enter a govt. building, and you need a drivers license includes a photo ID. The only reason for the dems not wanting Voter ID is so they can cheat.”
You are, of course, completely correct about the other side’s motivation.
But what if we stop it for them.
One thing I know will never happen, is that as long as almost every Republican Governor seems to be the definition of a RINO, save DeSantis; nothing will be done.
When President Trump was elected numerous liberal Governors and legislatures started a push for the popular vote to replace the Electoral College.
Nothing stopping the states and Governors from the southeast, Midwest and mountain states from doing something similar.
Kind of sounds like you think we all have to just sit here and take the beating from the Left I don’t agree with that.
“A simple, uncontested divorce would be the best one.”
I agree. A peaceful parting of the ways, letting the leftists go one way by continuing to ruin their hellholes and lovers of the former Republic going another way trying to get back to small government, individual responsibility, and freedom.
All that assumes, of course, that Pres. BiteMe wouldn’t try to make war on the conservative states who want to leave peacefully.
All that assumes, of course, that Pres. BiteMe wouldn’t try to make war on the conservative states who want to leave peacefully.
I think that’s the biggest problem. I believe that the Conservative Bloc in this country is far larger than many think. And if they stood together and stood strong, I’m not saying it would prevent CornPop from trying, but it would damn sure make things harder on him.
He doesn’t have the intelligence and stamina to fight those fights.
The way his temper flares, I can only imagine some of the things he’d end up saying. He would be jumping sharks all day, every day.
Cali dems win/cheat mostly with ballot harvesting like in 2018. The day of election repubs had won about ten spots but 4-5 days of harvesting flipped them.
US House has nothing to do with counties or states, it’s districts. My house rep covers several rural MO counties and there is no cheat machine here. Now a district that has Detroit or Philly in it, that’s a problem. We just need more and tougher poll watchers who if need be, will fight as in fist fight when dems show up with a truck load of ballots.
People need to get their states in order. Get rid of the State RINOs like the ones that overlooked their powers being usurped in PA, WI, MI, GA, AZ etc and most of whom did nothing about it afterwards because they were scared of rioting. Also we need to become precinct committee people because they vote for the Delegates and that’s who chooses the presidential candidate regardless of voting results.
Those counties that have big blue cities can only affect one US House seat, one US Senate seat and the presidential ticket.
Those are two levels that could have stopped the steal before it even got to Pence. State Repub Legislators and State Delegates. Fill up all the empty precinct spots(about half are empty) with MAGA people and they could fix the delegate and state reps problem.
Dominion is another issue but getting into precinct slots can help fix that too. You get face time with pols and they actually listen because you have more power than a regular voter.
