Monday, on her show “The ReidOut,” MSNBC anchor Joy Reid said that the media coverage of 22-year-old Gabby Petito is a clear case of “Missing White Woman Syndrome.”
Reid said, “If you’ve been watching the news for the past few days or on Twitter or TikTok, you’re familiar with the name Gabby Petito. The 22-year-old aspiring social media influencer who was reported missing after her fiancee returned from their van life excursion without her. On Sunday, human remains believed to be Petito’s were found in a national park in Wyoming. An autopsy is scheduled for tomorrow to confirm the identity. Now it goes without saying that no family should ever have to endure that kind of pain, and the Pepito family certainly deserves answers and justice

She does have a point. People are fascinated with this case because it is symbolic of what his happening to their culture. These two young white people, troubled with their demons, insecurities, neo pagan decadent habits and intoxicants never procreate, become productive and come to a nihilistic end. Actually people like Joy Reid are ecstatic to witness this scenario.
There is a local case here of a black woman missing and I presume dead. They have boyfriend in custody, but no body....................

That was a horrible story if we are speaking of the same event. It happened in the 1990s before the internet.
I recall it being in a very snowy part of the country. Blacks robbing and I think kidnapping a small group of white friends.
And yet... here you are posting about it.
While I believe that this story has gotten way too much coverage, the murder of a person is hardly “drivel.”
It’s also demographics related.
Blacks are 13%, whites are 60%. (roughly speaking)
They want to self segregate anyway, so **** them.

Why is the media running with this story if nothing in it can be blamed on Trump? This goes against the current format of CNN and [P]MSNBC, “Anti-Trump, all the time.”
And Reid suffers from mouthy uppity black woman syndrome.
“Agree with Reid”?! It’s only to take away from the Afghanistan debacle.
It’s just one dead hiker. Unless you knew her, it’s not going to affect anyone’s life. This is warped, but it’s not that she’s white... It’s that she’s attractive. (If my wife went missing, she’s be headline news, too.)
Beyonce goes missing: that’s news. (To me, it’s bigger news is Aisha Tyler went missing.)
Joy Reid goes missing: no-one cares.
It exposes the need for mental health support for these kids, it's a pandemic among our youth. Largely due to the breakdown of the family, elimination of religion, and loss of societal conservative values - all promoted and accelerated by Leftist Dems and the corrupt media.
The “drivel” being posted is ‘Missing White Woman Syndrome’ and “Why aren’t you talking about REAL news!” as if we can’t multi-task.
